Getting started with SensorZone: What is your site layout?

Before installing SensorZone it is a good idea to have a think about the layout of your site and how that might impact your SensorZone installation and set up.

Typically on site there will be areas where other safety measures are in place, for example barriers for footpaths or restricted areas. Machines that are confined to these areas may not need a SensorZone system in place. Or it might be more appropriate for these machines to have more coverage at the front and rear of the machine because barriers prevent incidents to the side.

There might also be site cabins or roads shared by heavy machinery and vehicles transporting people around the site, these are areas / cases where warnings are not required as the pedestrians are safe, but equipment may be nearby and will cause warnings to occur. If you think this is the case talk to us a bout spot limiters to reduce the number of nuisance alarms.
